Finding Gold (plus a video from Graham Cooke)

As I’ve been getting feedback from my readers on my upcoming book, “Finding the Proverbs 31 Woman in the Middle of Kid Chaos,” I’m realizing afresh just how important and timely this whole discussion is about IDENTITY.

Living according to what God says about us and not what we feel or think about ourselves.

I’ve been ‘chewing’ on this topic for a number of years now, and I NEVER seem to run out of things to learn. Why?

♥ Maybe it’s because the enemy is so determined to have us believing lies about who we are and who God created us to be. And when we’re not careful, we allow our foolish words to reinforce his lies.

James 3:5 NLT says it this way,

“In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.”

My friends, we don’t have time to waste believing those lies anymore. We have a battle to fight, a war to win, lives to change.

♥ But maybe there’s another reason there’s so much to learn about IDENTITY… it’s because God’s plans for us are SO MUCH BIGGER than our minds can grasp!

He believes in you more than you believe in yourself!

He sees the GOLD in you!

Here’s an excerpt from my book:

“The Word says this in Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV),

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or IMAGINE, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”

God’s plans for us are so much bigger and better than our imagination. But how can we believe for more, if we don’t imagine anything?

My friends, exercise your imagination. Be creative. Be bold. Stir up faith to believe God for the BEST for your life.”
