Worthy: Not Even Oprah Can You Make You Feel This Good

//  I wandered around the room feeling a bit like Oprah. Microphone in hand, and looking for the first volunteer to speak.

But the room was quiet, so quiet. Was anyone listening? Had I communicated clearly? God, You need to do this.”

The mood was set, the message delivered. I knew that Holy Spirit was working deep things into the hearts and souls of these precious women.

But it was so quiet.

I felt Father say, “Shhhhh, just wait.”

So I walked. And prayed. I could hear sniffles and quiet weeping.

“Father, speak to Your girls. They need to hear what You say about them. Erase the lies. Speak truth.”

♥ It means opening the door to your house… and your heart… and allowing people IN.

I’ve often said over the years that…         Read more

This past year has been just that… a journey into discovering Identity. And I’ve come to the conclusion that finding identity is both simple and incredibly complex.

Let me give you an example:

♥ When a new mom comes home with that little bundle of joy, she takes on the label of “Mom,” but faces the question, “Who am I now that I don’t have a career, or a paycheck, or peers who make me feel good about myself?”

♥ When those kids go to school, and she finally has a few hours to herself, but she finds herself asking, “Who am I now that I have some time, but can’t remember what I like to do anymore?”   Read more
