For the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of developing and managing a reading program for Victory Christian School in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. The purpose of the Eagle Readers Reading Program was to empower children to become strong, independent readers who have a passion for literature.
Over the years, I’ve met a lot of parents who feel completely overwhelmed with the task of helping their children read.
How can I keep their attention?
How can I get them involved in the story?
Will this ever end? (haha… Yes, I promise this too shall pass. Enjoy it for as long as you can.)
So, I decided to write a number of age-specific resources to help these amazing parents in their journey.
Here are the first 2 articles in the series, but there are more coming. Watch this space!
